Although both species have a yellow vent and can sound similar, White-browed can be distinguished by its brown face and white eyebrows. Usually occurs in pairs and tends to skulk in undergrowth. They forage in small groups, feeding on nectar and small insects. They are easily identified by the distinctive white eye-ring and overall yellowish upperparts.
